Navajo Chic

This great navajo inspired piece will keep you fashionably warm on chilly days. We have a total crush on this too good to be true 12th St. wrap sweater that gives you that perfectly pulled together look. We promise you'll stay warm and cozy while staying right on trend for the winter spring transition.

Wear this with a white tee, skinny jeans and boots. Trade out the boots for wedges in spring. Perfecto!

Rubber Duck Booties
The farmer's almanac has predicted this to be one of the worst winters in recent history. BRRRR! Don't let your inner fashionista suffer while your trecking around in rain, snow and ice. Rubber duckie snow boots are super retro and making a huge comeback. They are comfy and adorable and perfect with jeans, leggings, or sweatpants.

They've become a celeb favorite and we think they are pretty adorable. The best part? They are on SALE! They're marked down from $110 to $75.

Barlow

Barlow is a new line by Molly Coonan, longtime design assistant to Cynthia Vincent.Of course we adore Vincent's line, 12th Street, so we knew there was good to come with Barlow . The line gets its namesake from Coonan's best friend and former colleague, Alice Barlow, who cites Saved by the Bell and Snoop Dog as some of her fashion inspirations. Works for us.

We love Coonan's funky and tomboyish pieces that are still fashion forward and sexy. The collection features a lot of neutrals with pops of color and design details such as lace, cut-outs, and zippers. These pieces are easy to mix in with your current wardrobe. A daring cutout motorcycle vest is a no-brainer over a dress. Put a girly camisole with Barlow biker shorts.

Can't wait to get this line in for spring -

Strut for a Mutt 2009
Project lovely is happy to announce the success of Strut 2009! Not only did we have a blast checking out the latest in fashion and beauty and shaking it to the beats of Sam Ronson, all 9 dogs were adopted and $10,000 was raised for the Fayetteville Animal Shelter and Spay Arkansas. Wow! Savor Restaurant was the perfect place for the event.

We had local models who did a fab job strutting for mutts! The fashion show showed off lola's fall looks. The clothes were accessorized by our favorite local jewelry haunt, Mae's Emporium. Mae's features one-of-a-kind gems that you are sure to love. The beauty look was Juliette from luxe beauty's vision. We love a strong dark eye for fall and fun bright lips. Thanks to the luxe and Dillard's make-up teams for beautifying everyone. Dead Swanky and Studio 8 are to thank for creating our favorite fall hair styles: the fishtail and the "zoe" inspired by stylist extraordinaire Rachel Zoe. Totally Bananas!

The after party with Samantha Ronson was equally as cool. Sam dj'ed well into the night playing tunes that kept everyone dancing all night and was the perfect addition to Strut. Over 650 people were in attendance so there was no shortage of dance partners.

Thanks again to all volunteers and everyone who attended for making Strut for a Mutt a success. You made a mutt's day!
