It's always sad when such a bright star burns out too quickly. The loss of fashion great Alexander McQueen is certainly example of this. McQueen gained notoriety as the head designer for Givenchy, Gucci, and later his namesake label Alexander McQueen. He was known for his avant-garde, yet always chic, designs. Gwenyth Paltrow, Rihanna, SJP, Drew Barrymore and Lady Gaga were all die-hard fans of his. He was a true fashion visionary that will be greatly missed.
